Golden Ratio Films announces its most ambitious project: ‘Heroes of Haifa’

Bombay (Maharashtra) [India]September 23 (ANI/GPRC): Golden Ratio Films, the digital content production arm of Vistas Media Capital, commemorates the Battle of Haifa by announcing a film project telling its story. One of his most exciting film projects titled “Heroes of Haifa” will be co-produced by Yaelstar Films and Hundred Films. This will be GRF’s third successful project with Yaelstar Films.

The Indian and Israeli governments held a special ceremony to mark the bravery of Indian soldiers during the battle fought in World War I on September 23, 1918. The film’s producers, Piiyush Singh and Ashwini Chaudhary of Golden Ratio Films with Miten Shah, Promoter Yaelstar Films and Atul Pandey, co-founder of Hundred Films announced it during Haifa Day celebrations in Haifa to honor the historic event.

Based on the most successful cavalry charge in the history of modern warfare, the film will bring to the screen the epic story of Indian soldiers from the Jodhpur Lancers, Mysore Lancers and Hyderabad Lancers. They were armed only with spears and swords, outclassing the Ottoman, German and Austrian troops. The opposing side was superior and equipped with machine guns, cannons and modern weapons but could not prevail against the Indian soldiers. Even today, Israeli textbooks educate students about the battle of Haifa and their bravery.

Authentic 20th century Middle Eastern architecture, clothing and culture will bring the chilling realities of the Great War to life. The fast-paced war drama with realistic action mixed with the global geopolitics of the era will share experiences of raw horrors and glories of Indian soldiers. Israeli ministries encouraged the production and invited them to shoot the film in actual locations in Israel, where the battle took place. Through this collaboration, the film industry will benefit from the rich history of both cultures and contribute to the future of Israeli and Indian cinema.
